joining liesl in her monthly sock challenge ~ these are one of two December pairs so far…I think I’ll have three for the month when I’m finished :)

love my autumn set so much I decided I need a pair for Christmas morning ~ had enough yarn left to make a set of lace fingerless mitts

project notes::

• my second go round with Rios ~ one skein was heavy (105.5g) which is a good thing since the second skein is really light (only 93g!) ~ glad to have a scale so I know to make sock #1 with the shorter skein and then I won’t unexpectedly run out of yarn on the second sock ~ arrghh…there are knots in the skeins…grumble grumble

• I did a 2” cuff / last pair did pattern x6, this pair did pattern x7 for leg

• for gusset I always pickup and knit thru the back loop to tighten the stitches

• pair used 116g (244 yds)
