My size 6 DPNs were not handy (plus I’m a loose knitter, so I prefer size 5 or smaller needles when working with worsted-weight yarn) so I’m knitting this on size 4s. As a result, I’m not sure the 9mm safety eyes are a good fit… but the 6mm look odd, too.

I ended up using the 9mm eyes.

I got most of the alligator body done in an hour or so… still working on the mouth-lining.

Finished the first alligator on June 12th while watching Deep Blue Sea.
