Finished bear and costume in about 2 hours (including time spend searching for polyester fiberfill and scissors)

UPDATE 2/1/2013: Ewok Variation!
Cast on 24 stitches for the hood, knit 1 round and then followed the hood shaping according to the pattern.

It turns out that Ewoks don’t actually have tails, so the next one will be properly tail-less.
