Had to add Rnds for size, as follows:

Rnd 5 (white): Work as per pattern, except with sc, and 3 sc in corners.
Rnd 6 (navy): {2 (two, not 3) hdc in corner, * hdc in ea sc to next ch-1 sp, long dc in sc from Rnd 5 directly below ch-1 sp (working in front of the ch-1 sp; ch-1 sp will not be worked into), sk next sc, sc in next 3 scs,* rep after * across to center ch-1 sp, long tr in the “V” between hearts from Rnd 4, rep bet * and * to next corner} 4 times, omitting last 2 scs on 4th repeat, sl st in 1st hdc to join.
Rnd 7 (yellow): {(2 hdc in 1st hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in 2nd hdc) of Rnd 6 corner, hdc in ea hdc to next long dc (or long tr), ch 1, sk long dc (or long tr), hdc in hdc up to 1st Rnd 6 corner hdc} 4 times, sl st to 1st hdc to join.
Rnd 8 (green) and 9 (pink): Work Rnd 6 and 7 of pattern.
Rnd 10 (lt blue): {3 sc in corner ch-2 sp, ch 1, sk st, (sc in next 2, ch 1, sk st) to next corner} four times, sl st to 1st st to join.
Rnd 11 (navy border): (2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc) in corner, sc in ea st and long dc in front of next ch-1 sp into st fr Rnd 10 directly below, sl st to 1st st to join.
