Changes made to pattern:
Shirt: Added 1 more row. Instead of sewing velcro to close shirt I put it on chimp and stitched it closed.

Banana peel (was WAY too big for banana): On Rnd 4, …(…sc 2nd from hook, hdc next 2, dc next 19) 5 times, (…sc 2nd from hook, hdc next 7, tr next 14)…

Finishing: I sewed velcro to chimp’s hand and banana peel so he could “hold” the banana

After looking at finished banana peel, should have stitched the peel sections from the inside instead of the outside, to have the ridges.

I really enjoyed doing this project, and it was pretty fast to do!
