Lucky me, I have been selected for testknitting a new design by Rachel Illsley Antique Filigree is a top-down, circular yoked sweater, which features stranded colourwork through the majority of the yoke, body and sleeves. The patterns of the stranded colourwork are inspired by filigree, an intricate type of metalwork found on jewellery and other ornate pieces.

Cast on with needle size 2.75mm, used 3.25mm after the neckribbing.
Changed my mind, I’m really afraid, my first choice won’t show the beauty of the colourwork, so ribbed and next try…
new start: oct the 30th, used 3.00mm needles after the neckline this time
nov the 2nd body and sleeves are separated
body is done, now onto sleeve island… first time knitting the underarm sleeve extension… all colourwork is done aaaand off the needles

mods:
knitted a neckband after the short ribbing

Pattern is excellent well written, no more mods necessary for this project…

Left yarn is: MC 27gr, CC1 (gray) 45gr, CC2 (soft pink) 61gr
So the used yardage for my size is:
MC 1.092m
CC1 (gray) 220m
CC2 (soft pink) 156m
