Notes

As one does, I bought the pattern without an exact plan. After reading the mkal intro, and seeing a “mohair dare”, went shopping and came home with the skinny alpaca craziness, thinking “alpaca dare” is not so far out to try.

Initial colorway is the denim + yellowy chartreuse. And I love it!

Buuuuuuuut, on October 2nd, after 2 wine glasses, I found myself in a yarn store…. the second colorway is, I believe, self-explanatory smiley

Because of the yarn’s sticky nature, I had to find another way to knit the bubbles. Fun times so far!

Finished Clue 2 today and I’m loving the results on both versions so far.

I went as far as to add “The Lace” in Section 6, instead of Brioche.

30.10.2024

Finished Section 9 on both shawls tonight. I have plenty of yarn for the 10th, but the idea of 600+ stitches (aka 45 minutes/row) is not so pleasing sweat

On the coloured one I switched my CC to MC, and used the 4 MCs as accents of colour. Puts the shawl in completely different light.

Will remain unblocked until I decide whether or not an extra border is needed.

This was ONE GREAT KNIT!

Almost sad it ended so soon.
