Seeing the beautiful designs of the participants of the YouKnits Triangle Shawl KAL I decided to participate, too :)

Yesterday I finished the shawl. It is approximately 150 cm wide and 65 cm high.
The colour is a more beautiful and warm yellow than on the pics.

I knitted the last YouKnit (003b) until row 26, knitting the last triangles in moss stitch (see picture 7).

It is Sunday and I had a little free time, which I enjoyed knitting the first ‘YouKnits row’ :)

I decided to make a spine of 3 sts and a roll brim of 4 sts.
Started with a tab cast-on:

• provisional cast-on 4 sts
• knitting 6 rows in stockinette
• knitting one more row, picking up and knitting 3 sts at the side (the spine sts) and picking up and knitting 3 sts at the cast-on side = 11 sts

I made a design with ‘normal’ YouKnits at the border instead of the triangle YouKnits. While knitting I will adapt the YouKnits #022b and #003b to triangles, which is easy because both have lace diagonals which I can follow.

No swatch knitted yet, so I don’t now yet about needle size
