This is another version of the Cap of Many Colors pattern by Patons. I just used scraps of yarn leftover from previous projects but promise to do a better job of documenting when I get to the point that I am uploading new projects instead of finished ones.
This hat was donated to the cancer ward at a children’s hospital in Long Beach so I tried to use the softest possible yarns and twisted them gently as I carried them to minimize the inside ridge.
Just in case anyone in the whole wide world cares, this hat glows like crazy in blacklight. I know this because I took my son to a lazertag birthday party and I was, once again, the only crocheter/knitter in the place hahaha!
When the man behind the counter asked why I was “knitting” instead of shooting, my 12 yr old kissed me on the cheek and told him, in all seriousness, “She’s not a fighter, she’s a pacifist.”
Hahaha so keep on crocheting, friends, you’re kids are watching ;)
