This is such a fun quick project and a great gift! I created the felt heart by knitting a 16 st wide square of stst, then hand felting it in hot soapy water followed by a cold rinse and lots of agitation. I cut the heart out of felt and then attached it using blanket stitch in Malabrigo sock yarn.

I knit the bear on size 4s and the sweater on size 5s.
