I’m finally flauming!
Modifications:
- regular bind off (in pattern) instead of tubular bind off
- knit sleeves flat and seamed so that my fabric matched the rest of the body

Finished the yoke and divided for body + sleeves. Love working on this!

started the pockets section. I was puzzled by the instructions to cable cast on sts on the RH needle. This only works if you turn your work, which the pattern doesn’t state, but you need to do. voila.

Finished the body and on to the pocket linings!

Tubular bind off is too loose for my liking and it’s a bit of a pain, so I went with a traditional bind off (in pattern). I’m really happy with how it looks!
Starting the sleeves…!

A few inches into the sleeves I noticed that my 1x1 rib in the round on dpns looks noticeably different than 1x1 knit flat.
I decided to knit the sleeves flat and seam them (casting on two extra sts for each sleeve). So much easier!

Still slogging along on the sleeves. 2-3” left to go!

Knitting is done!!! Just need to weave in ends and seam the pockets and sleeves.

Loved knitting this! The pattern construction is great and comes together so well. The yarn is beautiful, but feels fragile. It broke several times and made me really nervous, especially when binding off and seaming. I am glad I have a smidgen left in my stash in case I have to make any repairs.
