I decided to make this a pull-over with a keyhole + button closure in the back.

I didn’t swatch because I am using the same size needles as suggested and sport DK weight yarn; plus babies grow, so the fit isn’t as important as an adult garment… as long as it isn’t too small, and this has turned out very tiny. It is a truly newborn size at 0-3 months. I was worried for a moment that it might be too small even for a newborn. I will have to verify when i have a moment to get the measurements.

this one is resting for right now. i wasn’t happy with how big the sleeves are; i tried to make a “puff-sleeve”, but i am not happy with how it came out. baby isn’t due for three months, so i have some time to work out what i want to do.

finished at the last minute. i decided to knit sleeves as written. added a pretty yellow button on the back.
