NEWS! I’ve revised and expanded this pattern for my own indie pattern line! It’s in Ennis Revelation

A Tunisian filet lace shawl crocheted from point to point, so you can use any amount of yarn on hand. Less than the two-skein blue one shown here would result in a scarf size instead. See my Quartz Wrap project for a one-skein orange version -- still pretty big! (You can see the size difference in one of the photos of this shawl.)
.
I crocheted this one for the summer 2013 issue of Interweave Crochet magazine and happily, I was asked to use the same SWTC bamboo yarn as used for the original 1-skein orange one.
.
I love the yarn for this project! I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s the easiest way to use and get the best out of what bamboo has to offer--and bamboo sure offers a lot for Tunisian crochet lace!
.
Several other bamboo yarns are lots of hair-like plies loosely spun, so they are so splitty and make stitches look messy. But THIS yarn is a finely knitted tube type: no splitting. Holds up really well too.

Tested with my Lotus yarn and it’s awesome. See close ups of Diamond Ennis.
