This cap was designed and published by Adeline Cordet in 1910 in Dainty Crocheted Boudoir Negligees, Book Three.

I chose to swatch it because it’s a gorgeous and early example of how designers went about increasing or decreasing love knots while crocheting them in the round.

This is part of my prep for the “Beauty of Antique Love Knots” class I’m teaching at the CGOA conference in Charlotte NC.
