This is a kind of star stitch that is self-ribbed, self-edged, moderately stretchy, and reversible. My prototype heightens the ribbed/fluted/accordion effect. I’ve also heightened the self-edging that looks scalloped.

I may add more to this and see what happens. It uses 65 g of worsted wt merino so far.

:sigh: each star stitch variation is just so pretty.
