After knitting two repeats, I can safely say that I should have chosen another yarn for this pattern. The Artisan Sock is springy and bouncy and rather thick for a fingering weight…..at least, it’s thicker than I normally use. It would have been better in a more cabled application. The yarn itself, though, is gorgeous and I can easily see myself ordering it in the future

Worked 3.5 repeats of chart, then worked Eye of Partridge heel (18 repeats). Turned heel & picked up gusset stitches as directed. Last gusset reduction on round 12 of 5th repeat

Seven (7) total repeats until toe.

MODIFICATION made for fit: completed the star toe, slipped the sock on, HATE TOE FIT AND FEEL! Ripped back to 10 stitches per needle (20 total) and grafted.
