I goofed the heel….well not really goofed. Because of airplane turbulence, I had to put away my iPad, but I kept knitting. Since I couldn’t sneak a peek at the heel instructions, I simply executed a Fleegle heel (first time I’ve ever done it). I love this heel and I like the way it makes the sock look. So even though it won’t qualify for the SKA March 2012 drawing, I still enjoyed knitting them

After I loaded the pictures after clue 1, I noticed that I made a mistake in the 2-stitch cables somewhere in the middle of the sock. I ignored the mistake for 2 weeks, but I can tell that I’ve grown as a knitter: I just couldn’t let the mistake stand. So I ripped back about 15 rows, corrected the mistake and continued with clue 2. The last clue will be released in just a few hours and I want to be through clue 2 before then
