Notes

Mindless summer knitting - may stop at ankles. Toe up is really my favorite method.

I think i must have misinterpreted the heel turn instructions. I’m not sure it the heel stitches are knit across on 16 or 17 pairs before working the ssk and turn. I did 17 but then had to purl back 33 instead of 31 to get to the gap to work the p2tog. so I’m guessing the instructions really mean to knit 32 (16 pairs of sl1, k1). I will try that on sock 2. otherwise, I like the way the heel fits and it is a neat finish.

Yarn forms a very cushy fabric, but the marl coloring makes it really hard for me to see individual stitches.

One plus year later I’m finally finishing the second sock. Yes indeed the heel should be worked over the 16 pairs. I think it is unclear in the pattern.

Would definitely use this yarn again -and like this heel method.
