I’m unaccustomed to the appearance of single-ply yarn. HOWEVER - garter -stockinette - reverse stockinette look great!

Got an inadvertent DOUBLE twist on joining the first round, also on the second attempt. If it were a half twist, I’d like the look of how it folds neatly at the bottom of the loop. Third attempt is untwisted.

I may have overdone it on the number of stitches, considering I didn’t take stretch into account. I’m so accustomed to superwash wool (which this isn’t) AND it’s 21% bamboo, which is known to be stretchy. Still, at the pre-frog point off the needle, it seemed skimpy so I stuck with the 225 st CO.

Adding a second color yarn at the center was an inspiration - I’m an inveterate color-combiner (a veteran patchwork quiltmaker). I’m dedicated to making my hand-knit accessories look specially designed, and the first color - beautiful by itself - wasn’t striking enough. The blue and pink echo each other in the paired yarns.

For a tweak, I bound off with the pink yarn from the center. Photos follow.
