Love this wrap made more scarf size than shawl size.

Re tassels:
I use a cardboard base of about 5.5” to wrap about 50 times. Always better to make it a little longer than you think you’ll need so you can trim away. I tie the knot at the top while it is still on the cardboard and before cutting the bottom loops.

One little trick - maybe - I use one of those little girl’s pony tail bands to slip over the top , lower than I want to do the wrap - to keep the top all even. You can pull and tug on the strands to make that top part all smooth. Then I do the wrapping.

I make a small loop facing toward the top before wrapping tightly. Then I put the end thru the loop and pull down on the other end so the loop slides down into the wrap. This seems to be secure enough.

Best thing really is the shot of steam iron. Smoothing the strands and steaming. Then trimming and TA-DA!
