Whilst crocheting this was enjoyable and the pattern was very well written - one of the best presented and written I have see for a while, the finishing was horrendous. There were over 970 ends, yes I counted! Each of the 33 shapes needed to be blocked first due to the unusual shapes this would make it easier to join. Then the joining, then the border and then a final block. By then of it I wish I had never done this project as I wasn’t in love with it.
