I used the brilliant pattern by GoldenCrochet - downloaded from Ravelry but super-sized it by using a 5mm Hook and 2 strands of DK yarn (bonus for the main part and smoothie for the accents) instead of the small hook and finer yarn.

I’ve also switched colours from the suggested green to a vibrant red in order to make this beast into a Welsh Dragon as a gift for a Welsh patriot.

I think he turned out rather well. Very pleasing design.
