I made one of these ten years ago, and it remains one of my favorite projects: the 10-row pattern is quick to learn, so you can get away from the page easily -- but it varies enough that you always stay engaged, which can be a challenge on a larger project. Plus the i-cord edge is just nice. I made this one for my mom, in a color that pays homage to a golden-colored blanket that she gave me when I was little. Just in time for Mother’s Day, so that worked out!
