Notes

I knit the body as per the pattern, except I knit the sleeves top down using short rows and edged them with garter stitch (to match the hem of the body) instead of ribbing.

I wanted an edging that extended past the hem of the cardigan, to get a longer silhouette. so I cast on quite a few stitches before picking up stitches from the right front edge and cast on extra stitches after picking up stitches from the left front edge. The edging is all in garter instead of ribbing.

The edging is composed of two different yarns - I used the merino for the area that goes around the neck, and the merino/mohair on both sides.

I originally wanted to make longer sleeves, but the tops of the sleeves turned out quite big so I left them as cap sleeves.
