This pattern is very old, can’t find it on ravelry. It was the first thing I made back in 1997. Very user friendly and definitely easy for beginners. I put a picture of the pattern book for you to see. The sampler is the one pictured.

Finished motif #1, now starting #2.

Finished strip #1 and started strip #2

Working strip #3. Finished motif #1, then knit rows 1-3. In order to increase 8 stitches on 3rd row, just did a purl row on the wrong side increasing the 8 stitches there. Ended up starting motif #5 on the right side row as per the instructions.

started strip #4. decided to start blocking the 3 strips that are finished already. hoping to finish by christmas day.

Finished the 4th strip, now blocking. Will start 5th and final strip tomorrow. First three are ready to be crocheted together.

Finished last strip, now blocking. Just need to crochet together now. Using H hook to connect strips together.
