Loved this project. This is the fastest shawl(ette) I’ve made ever. I was surprised at how quickly this project knitted up. I was debating if I should make a larger shawl or not, but didn’t have enough yardage. The small shawlette calls for 330 yards. It turns out I did have enough yardage to knit at least another repeat, but I’m certainly not going back to rip it out now. Even though it’s small-ish, the shawl is knit out of wool and that puppy did stretch and block out quite a bit. I finished it in time to wear to my stepson’s wedding. I got many compliments for the shawl too. :-) And I didn’t even knit the shawl specifcially for the wedding. It just ended up working out with an outfit I’d planned to wear.
