This woven Buddha-like face has a halo with a felt base, and rings crocheted with Maine island wool (Lincoln Romney cross, handspun in the grease), and metallic gold thread. The different colors are the natural colors of two fleeces - nothing was dyed.

The face was woven in my Zati Mask sculptural weaving technique, and felted to a headdress I created with Merino wool.
