Notes

I started these way back in 2021 during pandemic lockdown. I can’t find any reference to the colorway online, but the lime/grey/black combination definitely reminded me of Minecraft.

These were knitted toe-up and I used a simple two-row broken rib pattern on the top of the foot and leg just to keep it interesting. I like to think it looks a bit like pixelation, which works with the Minecraft theme.

The heel is actually a proper heel flap and gusset, just knitted in reverse. It was a fun challenge to work out how to do it, made more difficult by the fact that I lost my notes between finishing the first sock and the second one, so they are slightly different. No matter; they keep the recipient’s toes warm and he’s very happy with them.
