My project for the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

As my row gauge was slightly different (I’m tall), I extended the antlers by several rows to make them finish closer to the collar. I also used short rows for the shoulder shaping and finished with a three-needle bindoff rather than casting off and sewing.

In a further attempt to avoid sewing… rather than knitting the sleeves flat and sewing them in, I sewed up the shoulders and side seams of the jumper and then knitted in the sleeves from the shoulder down with short rows, reversing the cables as needed.
