9/11/08: casting on today after a looong knitting hiatus. I plan to do the main color the pastel green, the belly pink, and the beak/neck/feet in yellow.

9/12/08: Yesterday I finished all the body parts except three of the foot-pieces, which I finished this morning before preschool drop-off!! I’m seaming now.

9/12/08: yay! It’s done in time for Mae’s birthday party!!! :)

Notes: pattern is great, can’t complain. Obviously can knit up really fast. A nice sized toy for a one year old, I think. I used french knots for the eyes due to the potential choking hazard. And I know my seaming is bleah and I didn’t block the pieces. I was in a hurry. It’s still cute, I think.
