My daughter loves my new essential stripes sweater and insisted I use the leftovers from it (which themselves were already leftovers!) to make her this hat, so, there you go. I WILL bust the stash! I cast on yesterday and knit the ribbing into a moibus THREE TIMES. I am finally today (10/30) 3/4 of an inch into it correctly. Sheesh.

Well, that was fast. Maybe she will wear it trick or treating tonight :)

10/31 PM while they were out trick or treating I made Lilah one, too. The smaller hat was made using 80 CO stitches, and then decreasing the first time by K8, K2tog around, then doing a few more knit rounds, and then starting the decreases as per the original pattern at the point where 72 st remain. It worked great and fits L’s almost-3-yr old head perfectly.
