Using sport yarn and size 6 needles, so knitting the 9 month size and hoping for 3-6 months (baby is due in March and is in CA - so this should hopefully make for a late summer/early fall outfit).

Got to the round where I plan to start the Boston Terrier motif and realized I have to use intarsia, which was a MESS when I did this previously. I must block these things out… So I will be knitting this portion back and forth in rows to avoid the horrible mess of yarn ends I had on the Boston Terrier vest I made a couple years ago.

I’ve taken a few days off from knitting because I’ve been doomscrolling and watching the news around the clock.

Finished all the knitting, weaving in ends, and adding some embroidery! My first foray into embroidery. It’s not the most beautiful thing ever, but I think it works.

Just ordered some buttons that I hope will fit… couldn’t find any cute ones where I live (a fair bit away from any yarn/craft stores).

So the baby I knit this for is wearing it at one month old so it definitely turned out even smaller than I was expecting!
