Did the neck before finishing the body. The fit changes dramatically when doing this and I will better know how long to make it.
Bound off the neck in pattern the “normal” way. this gives the collar more structure. It does not have to be stretchy since it’s not going over the head. I also ran a crochet chain along the inside of the collar from start of sleeve, back of neck to end of other sleeve. I did this to add stability so it wouldn’t droop off my shoulders.
Will finish the body and evenly decrease 1” (5 stitches) prior to doing the rib as I want this to sit nice on my non existent hips.

gotta say, I LOVE this interlock bind off

well I have all the ribbing done and am debating whether I should undo the ribbing and take an inch off the length of the sleeves and the body.

I decided to leave it as is. It’s a little more oversize than I like. But it will be great for layering. I really love the vintage buttons. I got them from a flea market some years back.
The only place I alternated skeins was when joining the body for in the round knitting. This prevented pooling and gotta say it looks pretty nice.
Note to self, when knitting with this yarn, I need to do it at a much smaller gauge.
