Finally found a sweater that my adult daughters love. Amanda will have a pink and red and Kendall either the mint teal or the lavender and deep purple.

observations

It took me a couple of hours to read through and note the entire pattern. Make sure you do this. The pattern covers most of what you need to know but these things aren’t where you are used to seeing it.

I could not get the knit companion charting software to work for these charts

Not sure what the edge stitch is all about on page 2, I am not knitting the first and last stitch regardless of row, I am working in pattern. Update: per the designer the edge stitches are done from r3 through r16 and will make picking up stitches easer.

Raglan increases begin on row 3

Neck increases begin on row 5 and end on row 17

I am carrying the unused yarn up the side (trapping it in the 1st stitch of succeeding right side rows).

once you get cast on and work to the neck join, you are good to go. pretty easy after that
