not so ugly

I really thought that ugly skein was going to ruin the whole thing, but it actually turned out quite nice.

Bought the spincycle for the shift cowl but really didn’t like how it was working up. Frogged it and tried a linen stitch cowl and didn’t like that either. I really don’t see why people go gaga over this yarn. It’s expensive and it really does not feel nice. Nor does it have enough “heft” to look nice on anything but a garter stitch or maybe stranded colorwork. Thus, this pattern.
