I cast on with tubular cast on I didn’t swatch but started a sleeve blocked it and got gauge, this sweater was so fast! I added 3 inches to the body as I like a 12 inch underarm length and followed pattern for a 2 inch ruffle I think if anything I would have made it differently like the smaller sizes length of 1.5 inches.

Overall I loved every second of knitting this it was my first bottom up sweater and wouldn’t be my last. I highly recommend this pattern it is very clear and fun to k it the charts were easy to remember and easy to read your knitting. Knit it you will love it !
