after reading several projects I decided to start with a larger than suggested needle size so far I am happy with the result. I really like the knitting for olive as the motif it really stands out nicely.

I decided to try the ladder back jacquard technique I googled it and found it pretty straightforward and kept the ladders predominately near the cables until the last few rows of colorwork sections and added more
