Taken simple stitch pattern and basic construction from pattern but using sock yarn and 2.75mm hook to make a sunglasses case instead. Very very simple stitch pattern which allows you to go on autopilot :)

Blocking worked well to even out the rectangle.

Is also the perfect size to be a case for my phone (Nokia 7 plus) or Paul’s (Samsung Note 9). Interesting…

Changes:

• 16st per row (experimentation found this worked well with the self-striping yarn, 3 rows per stripe)
• Worked back and front as one long strip (55 rows if I remembered to track them all)
• Edged sides and opening as pattern but with yellow DK yarn and 3.5mm hook.
• Didn’t bother with sewn lining but did include button and loop (chained with smaller hook).
