Creating matching NY Rangers helmets for a friend’s baby and the soon-to-be Big Sister. Will do both helmets in blue and then use scraps for the braided ties and will embroider the NYR on either side of the helmets.

3/7/19 - finished the newborn helmet (29g/63yds) a few days ago and finished working on the 3yr old’s helmet this evening (52g/113yds). Just need to do the ties and embroidery.

3/8/19 - the newborn helmet is 6.75 inches across the brim and about 5 inches from brim to crown, laid flat. The ties are about 11 inches long. The toddler helmet is 8.75 inches across the brim and about 6.5 inches from brim to crown. The ties are about 12 inches long.
