Notes

Mods:

  • Changed cuffs and neckband to black.
  • Knit neckband and cuffs in K2P2, not K1P1
  • Made size medium at hips, decreased to small by waist. I wish I had kept going with the medium. I would have liked this sweater a bit more oversized.
  • Omitted the top portion of the yoke pattern. I just changed the pattern so that it had a clean ending. I’m not a fan of the stripes near the neck that are so popular on the Icelandic patterns.
  • I added 5 or 6 sets of short rows at the back neck after finishing the yoke pattern. Definitely do this - much improved fit!!
  • I did not make a folded neckband.

I love this beautiful, warm sweater!!
