I will be making 3 of these tops; one for each of my granddaughters. I thnk this is so cute and cool. They live in AL so cool is necessary in the summer. The oldest is 19, the youngest 8. The 19 will be getting the burgundy/natural; the middle (12) is getting one in navy/natural and the youngest is getting one in green/natural. Will post once I get at least one started. Finishing a baby blanket first - don’t want to get sidetracked.

Started the Burgundy/natural - its just the beginning but I’m liking this a lot. Did my 7 stripes, decrease on the 3rd row of the 8th stripe. Then had to really check to see where to knit and where to purl. Once I get another few stripes done its all k2p2 rib. Then another back piece the same as the front and add the trim. Neat little top; I do like it.

Finally finished! I was just lazy in completing this, but I do like it and it could be done very quickly. Made it for my oldest granddaughter, but I have a feeling it’s going to be too small for her and I’ll need to make her a medium instead of a small. Now on to the next one.
