I wanted to make a bigger one (as in the plan), but after a day I got so bored :) with it, that in the end it took me 2 years to finish a smaller. It will be baby3’s blanket.
Unfortunately the yarn bled a little in the wash :(

Notes to the original aim:

10-04-2012: 53 hexagons done and joined, 137 to go.
20-04-2012: 84 hexagons done and joined, 106 to go.

I have changed the original plan a bit, I integrated the half hexagons (=trapezoids and pentagons) around the edges, which means I need 1 row less of the hexagons: 180 wholes and 40 halves. So:

24-04-2012: 95 hexagons done and joined, 85 to go.
02-10-2012: 105 hexagons done and joined, 75 to go.
09-10-2012: 115 hexagons done and joined, 65 to go.
18-10-2012: 126 hexagons done and joined, 54 to go.
05-11-2012: 138 hexagons done and joined, 42 to go.
