I´ve had this yarn in my stash for years, and intended it for ´Breton´, but could not be bothered to knit a sweater like that flat. Then I found ´it needs 2 to dance´. Love the pattern! Well written. The design is basic, yet very clever!

This top-down technique is an efficient way of knitting a well fitted sweater with no seaming, and only 6 ends to weave in (12 if you add stripes like in this project).
I´ve experimented with this this technique before - in my Blue Sweater. Then I added a few short-rows along the shoulder part. That worked well, but the problem is to hide the extra wrap&turn stitch in the “seam”…
The sweater weighs 290 grams.

I really like the texture of this yarn. And it works well will the purled stripes as well. My gauge is spot on.

Mods: 3x waist decreases on each side of the body.
5x hip increases on each side of the body.
Ribbing: 6 rounds of k1, p1. Followed by 7 rounds of stockinette before binding off (same on the sleeves).
