Loom: Kircher 20” width
reed/dents: 40/10

reconstructed the loom:

1) saw off the wooden dents on both threads/beams
2) drilled 4 end-to-end holes through both threads/beams
3) knotted a string-cord in a loop through each of
the holes
4) slipknot the apron-bar in those 4 loops

5) rachet & pawl (with lasercut) for each of the threads/beams
Kept the wing nuts but do not close completely

6) had to fill the 8mm (1/3”) that result from adding
the brakes.
lasercut 2 pieces (2x 1/6”) adding to the
heddle blocks and gave them a little shape to have
the rigid heedle reed better fixed (it was often slipping)

I am really happy with my pimped loom.
Next time I start with the correct side when
direct warping (lesson learnt) ;-)

Braucht nur 4 Schuß für 1 cm ;-)

Hach wie schön, alles richtig gemacht, stand nur
auf der Leitung, ein Telefonat mit dem netten
Herrn Kircher hat dann mein Gedächtnis wieder
aufgefrischt :-)
