briefly got a little fast & loose with the pattern regarding knitting and purling into yarn-overs; ultimately decided stephen is right. this clue became incredibly tedious shortly after the third yarn-over row.

oops, kind of stopped caring. only did 1 yo row in clue 4 before deciding i was done. i-cord bind off in color A.

final notes
i don’t really like it, it’s awkward to wear, i don’t like the huge yarn-over holes… so out it goes.

if i were to do it all over again, i would use a different increase method for clues 1 and 3, rather than the huge yarn-overs. a succession of k1fb or m1 increases would probably work just as well and give me the look i’d want.
