Witches of Puella Magi Madoka Magica Series: the Witch of Oblivion.

“The witch of oblivion, with a vengeful nature. A witch who is said to have originally been a magical girl who came from the end of the galaxy. She has shown herself now in order to forget about all the magical girls from this universe.”

The yarn color chosen for this project was deeply inspired by the Zuzu’s Petals that the designer made for her mother.

A very quick knit; can easily be done in a weekend. The only thing different I had to do with this pattern was to knit 8 rows for the provisional cast-on, as by my count 6 did not have enough garter ridges? Mysteries of the universe.

I also don’t like how it got blocked the first time, so I’m going to try doing it over to soften the points and even out the bind-off. It’s much larger and more ruffly than I was expecting.

UPDATE Frogged, reknitted, reblocked. Wound up being round and shapeless. Put a border of single crochet around it; it blocked out better, but the back edges still like to curl. I think I’ll call it done, though.
