20-11-16 swatched on 3.25mm and got 23sts pre washed.
Adding 11 each side for a 10st button band and slst selvedge. Slip first st of each row pw with yif, k last st.
For buttonholes, work at end of rs row 6. In added 11sts, k5, double yo, k2tog, k4. (To work on ws, sl1, k3, ssk, double yo, k5)
On collar, only worked 11 rows, not 12 as I needed an odd number to keep the rs of my long tail cast on on the rs.

So 5 further rows after buttonhole, then short rows (count as 1 row on button band) and then lace.
Each lace repeat is 12 rows, plus 2 rows plain knit, an inc row, and a purl row so 16, x3, 48 rows.
So between 1st buttonhole and end of lace, 54 rows. Don’t count inc and purl row on last repeat, want button to fall on that ws knit row, so 52 rows. On 26th (row 4 of chart) and 52nd?

After short rows, picked up second half of wraps whilst working first row of lace chart. Some of them fell on purl sts, so the wraps came to the front, which it specifically tells you not to do, but it looks ok.

27-11-16 finished the 3 lace repeats and I’m miles off the length needed for the armholes. Done a couple of rows of st st, but I’m debating taking them out and working the extra in the lace pattern. I’d like that to go to the arm edges. Slight problem is that I did the buttonhole to line up with the intended end of the lace, but that wouldn’t be the end of the world. Currently, I plan to put it on waste yarn and block it, but I’m letting it rest a bit while I decide….

10-12-16 did another repeat of the lace with no incs, put it onto waste yarn, with plastic markers for the sleeves, and it’s soaking…

20-12-16 after blocking, did another repeat with no incs. Then did a couple of rows working garter where the sleeves are and st st for the rest. Cast off on the wrong side, using k2tog cast off. Pinched 3 sts each side of the sleeves, so the counts went from 54-74-119-74-54 to 51-80-113-80-51
Shall cast these back on under the arms as I knit that gap closed…
All worked out ok :) Started the 3rd ball on the armhole cast off. Going to do another equally spaced buttonhole so it closes under the bust.

23-12-16 few rows after waist decs, 76g left, about 1/3. Fingers crossed….

25-2-16 for incs, doing easy (back loop) then hard (front loop) for each pair

26-12-16 after waist incs 52.4g left 2 more rows then 50.8g so 1.6g used
49.2g so 1.6g used
44 to 42.5 so 1.5g used
40.8 so 1.7g used

29-12-16 started smaller needle garter bottom with 16.6g
After 2 rows 15.1g=1.5g used
13.4=1.7g used
11.7=1.7g used
10.2=1.5g used
8.6=1.6g used
6.9=1.7g used
5.4=1.5g used
3.7=1.7g used
0.8g left after cast off :D

2-1-17 sewed ribbon inside button bands to reinforce and sewed buttons on. It does slightly odd things as it gapes at the bottom, but over all, looks good
