Last time I tried this, I couldn’t get the pooling to work for very long, so thought I’d try again with stripes, alternating. This was so not easier! It’s nothing like the 12” wide I’d intended, soooo difficult!
Wound on ok though, and looks lovely with the weft, so fingers crossed…
Some unevenness at the start from tightening over the wooden slats, hopefully that will wash out.
Once again, forgot to record selvedge and hem stitching details, but lucked out :)
Love the effect on the edge, idea for a future project, warp alternate colours, so all slots A, all holes B. Would weft be best one of them or something totally different? Hmm…
