I could get three squares out of each balm with a little bit extra. I intended for the dress to be a solid navy blue but then halfway through. Found that half of my blue yarn was a slightly different shade, so scrappy dress it is.
I made a medium as I am very pear-shaped, probably you should have gone with a size small. I made an i cord and made it like a corseted back to get it to fit nicely. As I am on the shorter side at just above 5 ft tall, I did not put the last row of squares on the bottom or I will use those to make a bag or something like that.

Made an i-cord with my I- cord knitting machine. I think it made this dress really cute. What a fun dress for the beach!.
