Here's a simple solution that works to break up the swastika look. All it requires is switching the position of B and D in the first section, and where that shape repeats in the other quadrants. All the rest can stay the same.

This project is now in a Time Out, possibly headed for the Frog Pond because all the bickering and strife surrounding the Original Clue 1, and now even the originally approved revised versions, has taken all the joy out of the project for me. I’m afraid those negative emotions will forever remain tied to the project and I won’t enjoy wearing it.

I’m considering knitting Anthe with what remains of my chosen shawl yarn and supplementing where I can from stash to make up the yardage lost in multiple froggings of Clue 1 of the Geogradient Shawl.
